The star ferry transports tens of thousands of passengers a day around the harbor, and is consistently rated one of the top must-see attractions in Hong Kong. It gives its passengers an outstanding view of the central and Kowloon skylines as they’re transported across the bay.

Nan Lian garden is a traditional Chinese garden in the Tang dynasty style located in Diamond hill, across the city from the race track. It’s a tranquil oasis that offers relief from the hustle and bustle of one of the most densely populated cities in the world.

An unexpected HK attraction is the hugely popular happy valley racecourse, located only a couple of miles from the harbor side race track. A relic of the British rule of Hong Kong, the racecourse is most popular on “Happy Wednesdays” during the winter months, where tens of thousands of locals come to see the spectacle and join in the excitement.
